Huckleberry is our 5th generation lap cat! Abys and Somalis tend to be too busy to sit in laps, but the boys in this line are real lovers. Huck is our first Grand Champion. The photo above was taken when Huck was 1 year 4 months old. Huckleberry was the best Somali kitten in TICA's SW region for the 2005-2006 show season.
I'm not real thrilled with the background color in these photos - it was supposed to be cream but didn't come out that way. However, I think Huck is handsome against any color. Huck was only 6 months old in these photos. In the top photo, against the blue background, you can see his warm color.
Huck has really dark blue color as you can see by the dark markings on his face. He has nice big ears, warm undercoat, and a big fluffy tail. His coat is thick and plush, although not very long at this point, as Huck still has his kitten coat. This fall he should develop his adult coat and then we will see how it looks.
