Kato has been shown beautifully in TICA by our good friends Jeff and Heather Roberts of Sacramento, CA. Kato came home to visit for a few months to make babies. He's now done with his "Daddy career" and has hit the show hall again, he's 1/2 way to his grand premier title.
Kato would do well in a show home in the alter class. At the least, we think he can Supreme in TICA (he's already a Quad Grand Champion). He was a TICA double (kitten and championship) regional winner last season. I suspect he could be a regional winner in CFA as well. However, the most important thing is that Kato gets a loving home!
These are Kato's kitten photos. He's a good sized boy with great type, warm color and good coat. It's common for a Somali to drop coat after neutering, or in the summer, and he has done that. I'm sure he will regain a nice coat in the winter.
I'll be showing Kato myself until the perfect home is found for him. He's extremely sweet and enjoys shows and playing with the judges' toys. He's been out of the show hall for a while and I suspect he'll be nervous at first. Look for Kato at CFA shows in California, and hopefully some TICA shows as well.
